Goal

This project aims to create a dynamic performance report using Power BI that allows users to analyze a pharmaceutical company's sales data, including total sales, sales quantity, YoY sales, and other key metrics.

Process

  1. Importing the data into Power BI and cleaning it within Power Query.
  2. Building core DAX measures.
  3. Designing the report layout.
  4. Applying conditional formatting to highlight important insights and trends.
  5. Implementing dynamic chart titles and report titles to provide context.
  6. Creating the report and preparing it for publication.

Insights

  1. Japan and South Korea are the largest international markets for traditional Chinese medicine, driven primarily by plant extracts, which are also the leading contributors globally.
  2. March, September, and November are the strongest sales months, attributable to seasonal marketing campaigns and promotions.
  3. In the most recent year, top-performing products include P85, P103, and P185, while bottom performers are P80, P69, and P206, all categorized as plant extracts. </aside>
